Position Description
The Community Impact Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of community investments and projects, and for participating in collaborative initiatives related to poverty reduction and community development. The role of the Community Impact Specialist is to be United Way’s primary link to funded agencies, community collaborations, and networks and to manage United Way’s funding process.

Primary Responsibilities

Manages Community Fund allocations process
Responsible for managing relationships with funded agencies, community partners and volunteers
Ensures appropriate stewardship practices and processes for community funding
Actively participates in systems-level change processes
Assists with advocacy, research and evaluation initiatives
Represents United Way at community planning tables and committees
